Responding to Anthem's Claims

Issue #1:

IF: Anthem is truly “making sure our members have access to high quality, affordable healthcare.”

THEN:  Why would Anthem prefer to reimburse a hospital $95 (33%) more than what KBC requested? 

• KBC requested that Anthem reimburse the same as most insurance companies do.

• Anthem’s current strategy will definitely raise the cost of healthcare in KY.
